Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of House of Prize (“the Service”), operated by Handaro AI (Korea) at houseofprize.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

House of Prize is a browser-based collection of board and card games played against computer opponents. Play is single-player against AI; the Service does not currently offer real-money wagering, prizes with cash value, or peer-to-peer play.

2. Accounts

You may play as a guest, or create an account using email (with a one-time code or password) or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at hansd410@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, use only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play games or interact with the Service.
• Use external engines or assistance to influence recorded games intended to affect ratings, leaderboards, or in-service credits.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or manipulate statistics.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is publicly served.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service (denial-of-service, exploitation of vulnerabilities, abusive traffic).
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.

We may implement server-side replay verification and behavioral detection to identify violations. Records that fail verification may be flagged, and repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or termination.

4. In-Service Credits, Prize Points, and Ratings

The Service may award in-service credits, Prize Points, or ratings based on gameplay. These items are for use within the Service only.

• They have no monetary value.
• They are not transferable between accounts.
• They are not redeemable for cash or any goods outside the Service.
• Prize Points are provided free of charge; free-tier balances have no guaranteed validity period and may be adjusted, expired, or removed at our discretion, for example to correct errors or to enforce these Terms.
• If we transfer, assign, or restructure the operating entity of the Service (including transfer to a separate legal entity), your account, balances, and history may be assigned to the successor entity under materially the same terms.
• Ratings and leaderboards reflect gameplay outcomes but do not constitute any promise of reward.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, game logic, artwork, and text, is owned by the operator and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Google). Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers’ terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handaro AI (Korea) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your access to or use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions) survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea, unless mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
